Ford Yields High China Sales in the First 3 Quarters

Ford Motor Co. has announced its brisk sales in China. In the automaker’s 2006 first three quarters report it was reflected that it has sold a total of 106,237 units of automobiles under the Ford brand. From January to September this year, Ford yielded 111 percent year on year increase. The company also noted that said increase is their fastest growth in sales in China.

Meiwei Cheng, vice president of Ford and chairman of Ford Motor China said, “The company’s outstanding sales showed that Ford has achieved remarkable strategic development in China since 2005.”

In the first three quarters of this year, Chang’an Motor Corp, a joint venture of Ford Motor Company along with Chang’an Motor Corp, China’s No. 4 vehicle producer, sold 87,930 units of Ford vehicles. It is 147 percent more than its sales figure in the year 2005. Jiangling Motor Corp, where Ford held 30 percent of shares, sold 16,315 units of commercial vehicles under Ford brand. Said figure has amplified by 29 percent year on year. Ford’s venture with Jiangling sets forth the Transit commercial vehicle.

Chang’an Ford is producing the Mondeo, Focus and Fiesta models and the Volvo S40. Along the increase of Ford’s sales automobiles is the increase in sales of its parts. Volvo S40, for one, is overwhelmed by purchases. The 4-door, 5-passenger sedan is available in three trims 2.4i, T5 and T5 AWD. Volvo S40 parts include the standard 2.4-liter, I5, 168-horsepower engine rated 22/30 mpg in the city/highway. T5, on one hand, is given 218-horsepower, turbo engine that produces 19/27 mpg in the city/highway.

The Detroit-based automobile manufacturer has earlier opened a vehicle finance company to facilitate its sales and eventually support the expansion of its business in China. By the end of the year, said finance company will be offering credit services to Ford customers situated in the 21 cities of the country. These services are considered by the automaker to effectuate a more productive automotive business operation in said part of the globe.

Texas Auto title not transferred, now tickets not mine?

I sold my Spyder (car) back in March.
The people I sold it to never transferred the title and now have outstanding tickets against it.
My ex-husband was bragging to my neighbor saying something that I have/will have a warrant out for ME since the car is still in my name. Evidently the city/county mailed something to my old PO Box (which my ex has reopened) and he intercepted the letter and isn’t about to give it to me.

I do have the top part of the title to mail, about the title not being changed – BUT – it still shows Mitsubishi Motor Credit, not my info. I also have a bill of sale.

~ Where do I begin? How do I find out IF I have a warrant and WHERE it would be coming from? I think the guy that bought my car is in Grand Prairie, but I’m not sure.
My neighbor that relayed this info is a dealer and has a wrecker service and will go ‘repo’ my car when this is resolved.

call the municipal court to determine your warrant status. I would also report your ex-husband opening your mail. that is a federal offense

THEN, provide the court with the documentation you have and give them all the information on the parties that you sold the car to.
