Credit One Bank Credit Card –I just received?
Okay, I signed up for this credit card through Credit One Bank and today I received it in the mail. The only thing is that, right now I don’t feel like having this credit card because this bank will not allow online card payment through any sort of way without charging a fee of $7 or more and the only way to send in payments is by using their envelope which I’ve read many complaints from people that they don’t always get this envelope and statement of theirs on time causing them not able to send the payment on time too and get charged for late fees!!!
On the paper–along with the card, it says that “cards not activated within 14 days will automatically be closed”. My question is, can I just not activate this card and have it be closed by the 14 days?
But then I also read somewhere that these cards are already activated.
*sigh* I don’t know what to do, I know I got myself into this mess.
i also have a credit one bank card, that $7 fee is definitely some slick stuff. I have had it since October 2007 and it did help me get a capital one credit card, an HSBC card and a discover card. To get around the fee being left on your card you can pay them through moneygram for $6.95 and the payment goes in the same day but not credited until three days later though. There procedures come in very handy when you forget to make a payment you can pay on the phone with any other credit or debit card to avoid the late fee. No they do not come activated, if you really don’t want it call them and see what they say or just don’t activate it. Hope this helps.
